Hello? I am Thomas McGregor Vos, I was in born in Nairobi Hospital Kenya on the 25/01/1998 at 22:00. A life exploring the Indian Ocean & African Outdoors fires my passion biodiversity, adventure, and guiding.

Creating quality times and sharing knowledge through guiding expeditions is more than fulfilling to me. I have hosted and guided people in the great outdoors since I was twelve years old with my father Dr Wayne Vos. I have always been involved in wildlife conservation and nature guiding as well as scientific research projects. I have led groups from British to American University and local schools, Birders, BBC/NatGeo film crews, to bush survival courses and nature walks, freedivers, hunters, entomologists, fisherwomen/men, and multi-week trek expeditions, researchers, and more.

I am capable to guide others safely with my diverse capabilities and experiences from rearing Queen bees to herding cats cheetah rewilding, logistics and operations management for remote lodges, mining exploration, game reserve wildlife and livestock management, ecological restoration, shark attacks, snakebites, antipoaching, kayaking expeditions, hiking, mountain and sea emergency rescues, mechanics, construction, power tools, conditioning to canoe and run ultramarathons, experienced in safe interactions with great white sharks & wildlife, solo hiking for weeks in isolation, skippering, spearfishing, and a story that altogether instils my sense of understanding, knowledge, acceptance, and happiness.
I am inspired by living things, people & nature, life experiences, my parents, working in scientific research under experts such as my father Dr Wayne Vos (Botany and Zoology), Prof. Richard Cowling (Botany and Ecology), Dr Gillian McGregor (Geography), Prof Winston Trollope (Fire expert and Botany), on wildlife and Game Reserves as well as by times in Kenya and Southern Africa. I am a proud African and speak three languages, Afrikaans, English, & isiXhosa. I have a Batchelors degree in the majors of Geography, and Human Kinetics & Ergonomics. I am a naturalist forever learning on this epic journey.
